Its legacy goes way back to 1885 when American Telephone & Telegraph Company was established. Since then it has gone through plethora of changes and the modern AT&T which we see was actually founded on October 5, 1983. Its products include fixed line, mobile telephony, broadband, fixed-line internet services, digital television etc.
You probably must already be aware of the wide range of products and services offering from AT&T. And there are good chances you are using two or more AT&T services already. If you are a little updated, they are also launching data rollover from soon.

But how do you manage the AT&T bills, especially if you are using several AT&T services? One simple solution is the AT&T accounts through which you can pay bills online. This tutorial aims to help you make an AT&T online account for paying bills.
Go to the official website of AT&T; that is att.com. On the right side you will see a rectangular box titled Access Your Account. Of course, you don’t have a user ID yet. In the bottom of the box, click on the link Register today.
The new link will take you to a new page. This page is also called myAT&T page. (See the picture below) You can also access this page directly without going to att.com.
There is a drop-down box here to select AT&T account you would like to manage. The drop-down box enlists 3 account types pertaining to AT&T services.
- Wireless: for wireless home phone
- U-verse TV, Internet & Voice: for television and internet services
- Home Phone, Internet & Digital TV: for DSL or Dial Internet
As a note, myAT&T registration is not meant for prepaid or business accounts. So proceed only if you are looking for a consumer account.
If you select Wireless, you will need your wireless number and billing ZIP code to continue. Similarly, for U-verse TV, Internet & Voice, you need your billing account number or AT&T email address, while for a Home Phone, Internet, & Digital TV account, you would require billing account number or phone number along with billing ZIP code.
Now, click on the blue button titled “Next” to continue. Go through the next two steps – Create ID and Password and Confirmation – to finalize your AT&T account.
Apart from paying your bills, you can also view your monthly bills. If you are using internet services, you can even check your monthly data usage and remaining high-speed data quota.
When you create a password make sure it is more than 8 characters and uses numbers, capitals and special characters as well. Passwords are case sensitive, so be sure to enter upper and lowercase letters carefully. You can also create 3 different accounts if you are using 3 different kinds of AT&T services.
